Refund policy

Insumos Lab maintains strict quality-control standards for all research materials offered on this website. Due to the sensitive and perishable nature of these products, all sales are final. Please read this Refund Policy carefully before placing an order.

1. All Sales Are Final

Because our products are high-purity biotechnological materials intended exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or refund requests once an order has shipped.
This policy exists to protect product integrity, safety, and regulatory compliance.

2. No Returns or Exchanges

We do not accept:
* Returns of any kind
* Exchanges
* Refund requests based on change of mind, improper storage, or incorrect use
* Requests related to experimental outcomes or research performance

Once the order has departed our facility, the sale is final without exception.

3. Limited Exceptions

A replacement or store credit may be issued only in the following circumstances:
* The product arrived damaged before opening.
* Insumos Lab shipped an incorrect item.

These are the only exceptions permitted.

4. Requirements for Filing a Claim

To request evaluation under the exceptions above, the customer must contact Insumos Lab within 48 hours of delivery.

The following must be provided:
* Photos of the product
* Photos of all packaging, including shipping box
* Lot number and order number
* Explanation of the issue

If the issue is confirmed, Insumos Lab may, at its sole discretion, offer either a replacement or a store credit. Refunds to the original payment method are not offered.

5. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled only if the request is received before the order has shipped.
Once a shipping label has been generated or the package has been transferred to the carrier, the order cannot be cancelled.

6. Shipping Issues Outside Our Control

Insumos Lab is not responsible for:
* Delays caused by carriers
* Customs processing times
* Weather events
* Strikes or force majeure
* Lost packages due to incorrect addresses provided by the customer

We will assist in tracking shipments, but we cannot guarantee delivery timelines or outcomes once the package has left our facility.

7. No Warranty

All products are sold “as is” for laboratory research use only.
Insumos Lab does not provide any warranties regarding suitability, performance, compatibility, or research outcomes.
